Horkežkart - Live In Solitude

Horkežkart, Live In Solitude, Amorfon, Unsounds, amorfon007.jpg CD - Amorfon
Imagine a very big group that masterfully sings choirs spanning from 'revolutionary' songs, hymns advocating the reunification of Yugoslavia in the '40s and '50s, punk-hardcore songs and covers of the likes of Kraftwerk and Brassens. Imagine that all this happens in Serbia in the year 2000 for a project named 'Your Shit - Your Responsibility', started by the group Skart, a word that, together with 'choir' and 'orchestra', in Serbian, forms the moniker Horkežkart. They debuted at the 'Center For Cultural Decontamination' in Belgrade, to a great acclaim that will continue in the many following performances and in the 'Croatian Tour'. For the first time since the war, a group of artists will cross the border between Serbia and Croatia, and we think this is a big proof that art and consciences together can go to great lengths.
