Stefano De Santis, also known as Urkuma (a slang term coming from the Italian region where this author lives that means "a state of physical uncertainty"), gives us a wonderful and introspective album, wrapped in the almost primeval force of its sound sequences that suggest a subtly restless nature. Animals and musical instruments, like in the floor mosaics of the Otranto cathedral, and the fact that what guides these free expressions is now a laptop is of little importance. The sounds wrap us, subdued or tumultuous, from the devices that Urkuma himself designs and builds. Heavily manipulated recordings, dissonances and auditive plink plonks, archaic and modern evolutions for those who still love the most experimental side of electronic music.
