CD - Ache
Courageous but delicate electronic manipulations, assembled starting from artificially childish images reminiscent of comic strips, using traditional musical instruments such as the banjo, flute and tuba. The Danish duo composed of Jacob Nielsen and Michael Mørkholt and known as Jab Mica Och El is very skilled in calibrating the thin border that separates the playful innocence of these sounds and the intrinsic complexity of digital constructions, which aren't improvised even though they sound confidently ironic. It's a release full of familiar melodies, which call for amusing parodies, more reminiscent of Donald Duck than of Mouse On Mars.
