Using a computer or other traditional editing methods doesn't matter. Electronic music as a category can be instinctively connected more to 'how' certain sounds are produced than to 'with what' they are produced. It's useless getting tangled up in disputes, motivated perhaps more by the endless trends' cycle than by not always appropriate theoretical considerations. Jefre Cantu-Ledesma, member of post-rock group 'Tarentel' and 'The Alps', here experiments ambient drones assorted with different analog media (cassette, microcassette, tape recorders), with electric and acoustic guitars, a gong, a harmonium, tibetan bells and cymbals, as the album's basic equipment. Mazy outcomes and quite structured textures. They are aimed to construct erratic listening charms, elegant and dreamlike sequences, sensitive changeovers, and micro-harmonies, supporting a definitively refined talent.
