Kingfisherg - Maverick Mouth

Tenuous electronica by Kingfisherg (aka François Boulanger), who releases his second album (but the first one was a mini) for Carte Postale Records, a Belgian independent label specialized in electronica, post-rock and leftfield pop. Digital samples, painted with melodies and calibrated dissonances that peek out from groove elaborations (describing them as hip-hop would be too much), putting together free-style improvisations, a pinch of space atmospheres and jazzy connections. It's a mixture which is kept reactive by the interaction of its different ingredients, among clicks, glitchs, and more traditionally 'musical' moments (with 'live' tendencies), with a 'hacker' and 'maverick' attitude that pervades every side of this interesting production.
