CD - Extreme
Improvisational atmospheric sequences, abstract and sensual, meticulously articulated by Luca Formentini, an experimenter and 'erudite' guitarist from Brescia, releasing for the Australian label Extreme. With guests such as Markus Stockhausen, Steve Lawson, Steve Jansen (ex Japan), Deborah Walker and Frank Moreno, 'Tacet', produced between 2005 and 2006, is a very musical listening experience, always airy and resounding, not without ambient influences, world music exoticisms and jazzy upswings, although always traced back to traditional and linear scores. Thirteen tracks, crystal-clear in their quality and mix of elements, but compressed into a fundamentally technical form.
